Kris Masson is the co-owner and lead designer of Boots Up. She has worked in the interior design business since 2008. She spent her early career in the Northeast working on designs for James Beard nominated restaurants as well as leading a retrofit for an international franchise and designing several brick and mortar concept shops. Her design work has been featured both online & in print for publications such as Good Housekeeping, Garden & Gun and Apartment Therapy.
Her move to Nashville in 2017 coincided with the design industry’s wallpaper resurgence and she has since spent her career immersed in the medium.
When she’s not nose deep in a wallpaper book, you can find her out in East Nashville, walking her Saint Bernard and Pekingese or spending time with her young sons.

Paul Masson is the co owner and head of our wallpaper division. He spent his formative years helping his mother wallpaper every inch of his childhood home, an early 1900’s victorian in the Northeast. Once he was old enough for his first proper job, he worked for a contractor who specialized in home renovations.
When he met his wife Kris in 2008, they began collaborating on design projects ranging from home remodels to restaurant retrofits. Since then, he has trained and lead a team of dedicated wallpaper installers, who collectively have 30+ years of paper hanging experience.
When he’s not leading our wallpaper team, you can find him at the gym, writing and recording music or spending time with his family.
